The LSG story
Our founder has worked in the security industry for a long time and has seen first-hand where security services fall short: a lack of response when clients need support, and unprofessional management and staff.
He has also seen what clients put up with: calls that go unanswered, and standards that slip from one shift to the next.
LSG was created because we believe there is a better way.
We take responsibility for the site, the venue and the people on it, from the start of a shift to the end.
Our approach is based on integrity, professionalism and a positive attitude. We want to be proactive rather than simply reactive, respond when our clients need us and keep looking for ways to improve. When you work with LSG, you have a security partner who listens, communicates and takes responsibility.
We also believe in putting our people first. Well-supported, properly managed and professional staff are what delivers the level of service clients expect.
Our aim is to build on what we establish today and keep developing, as a security company known for being proactive, dependable and true to its morals.
Part of your team
An officer on your door or your site represents your business as much as your own staff do. In a bar or a hotel, the door supervisor is often the first person a customer meets and the last one they speak to. Our officers are often the face of your venue or site, so how they treat people matters as much as how they keep things safe. We look after our staff, manage them properly and expect professionalism from the first hello. For us that means clear expectations and the right training, with someone to call when it matters.

We are a South Lakes company covering Cumbria and North Lancashire. We are putting down roots in the South Lakes first, and we plan to grow into new areas and services as the company does.
Compliance and standards
What we hold ourselves to, and what we will only claim once we hold it.

SIA licensing
Our officers hold the SIA licence their role requires, and we track licences and expiry dates for every member of staff.

Vetting
Staff are screened to BS 7858, the British Standard for security screening, before they work for us.

Training and records
Staff records, training, venue inductions, patrol evidence and operational compliance are managed in TacDesk, our operational system.

Accreditations
We only claim a standard, accreditation or insurance once we can show it. As the business develops, we will add the ones we achieve.
